Two weeks ago we kicked off the Summer of NativeScript, our program to get the development community excited about NativeScript, and adorned in some stylish NativeScript t-shirts.
And excited you are. In the last two weeks we've seen well over a dozen meetups scheduled spanning eleven countries and six continents. (I'm looking at you Antarctica).
We'd like to thank everyone that has submitted so far, but we'd like to especially thank the three meetups in the southern hemisphere, as they're running Summer of NativeScript meetups... in the Winter. We promise we'll try to think of you all when we name things in the future. Maybe.
Regardless of your hemisphere, there's now a good chance there's a meetup scheduled near you that you might want to check out. Here's the full list of meetups scheduled so far:
If you were looking closely at the list above, you might have notice that the first London date already happened. That's because last week the London JavaScript Community held the very first Summer of NativeScript meetup. If the pictures are any indication NativeScript was a popular topic. That, or they were amazed by Sebastian Witalec's fashion sense and pointing skills.
It's not too late for you to join in on the fun. The summer is still young, and there's plenty of time for you to run a NativeScript meetup of your own. Also, we're considering September part of the summer, because we're great with dates.
Don't feel capable of presenting on NativeScript? We've got you covered, with premade slide decks and hands-on labs your group can run through. We even have a video of us walking through the slides to help you get up to speed.
